KG Consultants is a structural and mechanical engineering firm located in Portland, Oregon. KG Consultants has been providing engineering services all across the US since 2005. Our engineers and staff have a wide variety of experience in commercial, industrial and residential projects.
The engineers of KG Consultants have extensive experience in the design of commercial, manufacturing, and residential buildings, which enable us to provide innovative, cost-effective solutions for today’s modern structures. We also perform building evaluations and retrofits for seismic and gravity loading, using the latest analysis techniques to give our clients the most accurate, up to date designs.
One of our specialties at KG Consultants is the seismic design and anchorage of a wide variety of mechanical and electrical equipment and systems. We provide complete sets of engineered calculations and drawings for every project, and work closely with the contractors during construction.
We have designed and detailed bracing for single and trapeze hung piping and conduits, cable trays and racks, equipment rack supports, roof top units, floor and ceiling mounted units, lighting fixtures, ducts, cooling towers, medical equipment, and more.
KG Consultants has worked with and used many different manufacturers and suppliers of bracing systems, including. We are very familiar with these different products, and understand the advantages/disadvantages of each. We work closely with our client to select a seismic system best suited for them and the particular project at hand.
